Yea, you’ve seen this car here before but it’s back for two reasons; 1. it’s always evolving and 2. I love it. People on HT don’t seem to give it the respect it deserves, there are so many one off custom fabbed bits on this car and people seem to be such brand whores these days it’s like they don’t get it. I like everything about it, especially the current set of wheels and color scheme.
A lot of people diss this car, I guess it’s one of those love it or hate it EKs because it was built to the owner’s vision with lots of custom one off stuff rather than the typical just put as much JDM/rare stuff as possible on it. Personally I’ve always been a big fan of it, I featured it before right here, although I don’t think it’s a supercharged D series anymore. Anyway, I just saw it got some new kicks and I’m digging them, 15×9 +0

This first EG is a lesson in just how effective clean paint, proper stance, and nice wheels can be. Cars that stand out without screaming “look at me” rock, they make perfection look so easy.
Can anybody ID these wheels? I know I’ve seen them before but it was a looong time ago.
Looks like some money was spent on this Sol, but the GT wing just isn’t for me. As always though, props for doing something different.
CTR replica on timeless TE37s, doesn’t get much more classic than that.
Damn I am really falling for Meisters on EKs these days
I actually like the color scheme going on here, it’s got a cool Miami Vice thing going on.
I must say this is my fav hatch to come along in a while, it’s perfect balance of JDM aesthetics and Vdub/euro stance just do it for me. Wheels are Work Meister S1 in 15×7 +10 in the front and 15×7 +0 in the rear wrapped in 165/45/15s.
