I really would love to have a Del Sol some day, I love how this one makes such a big visual impact while staying so subtle and simple.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags Del Sol, EK, Sik Creations on November 29, 2009 by ekhatchThe boys from Sik Creations went 2 for 3 on their quest. Due to parts falling through at the last minute the hatch was not completed. That is not to take away from what they accompished, just putting together one of these awesome Hondas in a week would have been a monumental effort. Huge props to Noah and the crew, more pix to follow I’m sure. And very cool to know another Noah is out there!
Mission Impossible
Posted in Uncategorized with tags build thread, Del Sol, EK, Sik Creations on November 24, 2009 by ekhatchThe guys at Sik Creations down in Florida have turned out some of my favorite Hondas, including this EG. What I really like about them is they’re not afraid to step outside the box and they’re always changing things up. This week they are taking on the monumental task of building 3 cars for a meet. Oh, and the meet is this weekend! I’ll be keeping a close eye on this, it should be good!
car 1
car 2
car 3
and a teaser
Can they do it? Stay tuned…

Posted in Uncategorized with tags Del Sol, Lover Soul, Motegi on October 16, 2009 by ekhatchNot a lot of info about these floating around, but from what I could gather in a quick search they were a limited edition of only 500 in 1997. All were Adriatic Blue Pearl and were equipped with factory “sport suspension” and an upgraded audio package. The real star of the Motegi package was that swanky almost orange leather interior, quite striking against the deep electric blue. This one is sitting on some beautiful Lover Soul wheels, but to be honest I think this is a JDM imported car that has been converted to Motegi interior, not genuine but it’s just too pretty not to post.
