Posted in Uncategorized with tags CRZ, Honda, hybrid, Mugen on December 12, 2009 by ekhatchI can’t wait to see a CRZ in person, I know I’m going to end up wanting one so bad I’ll be shopping one of my kidneys around to black market organ traffickers. All the renders and concepts I’ve seen have been white, I want to see it in black, I bet it would really smooth out the rear glass and mouth. Set it down on some bronze MF10s….shyeeiiit

I probably read the story behind them at some point and why they were never mass produced but it obviously didn’t sink into my brain very deeply. I think I do remember reading they were made specifically for ITRs. Wheels and my memory aside, it’s just a great car beautifully shot. Mugen lip, Bomex wing, for me Vogue Silver Metallic works much better on ‘99-’00s than ‘96-’98s.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags Axis OG, EF, Mugen on October 15, 2009 by ekhatchThis 1990 EF has had the same owner since 1996, I just love that. I’m always the old geezer at meets, and while there are all kinds of Honda enthusiasts, a lot of owners I meet are younger guys who are enjoying their cars but dream of bigger and better things once they get established in a career. Nothing wrong with that, but I have a huge amount of respect for the guys who are in it for the long haul. This car is also a lesson in build it right the first time, build it for you not for some passing trend, love it and take care of it, and it will always be in style. Obviously the Axis OG wheels are a later addition but I like them.
