Posted in Uncategorized with tags BYS, champ white, EK, K swap, pink bay on October 21, 2008 by ekhatchSome of my favorite things in life are pink on the inside. I’ve been seeing this contrasting engine bay treatment more and more in the last year or so, maybe we’ll do a round up of some of my favs sometime this week. Sometimes it looks great and really sets the car off and sometimes it just looks like you didn’t want to paint the whole car. Other than the cool under hood paint that I’m digging on this EK already had alot going for it, Back Yard Special bumper, Spoon mirrors, and of course that turbo’d K20. I’d love to see the valve cover and maybe (juuust maaaaybe) the wheels color matched to the bay.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags Bride, champ white, CTR, EK, JDM, K swap, Spoon, stance, wheels, wire tuck on August 29, 2008 by ekhatchThis EK has everything under the sun going for it, super clean body and paint, uber sexy wheels, offset and stance, nicely tucked K swap, and ballin outta control interior. It’s straight fire but manages to remain subtle and still stand out from the EK crowd at the same time, someone had a real vision when putting this car together and it shows.
The Icon
Posted in Uncategorized with tags champ white, CTR, EK, JDM on April 26, 2008 by ekhatchSo where to start? I guess with what has become the most recognizable EK hatch going, the iconic Championship White JDM Civic Type R, the true EK9. Such a fun and in my opinion timeless little car, it’s what every humble american hatch aspires to someday be. It’s clean and simple factory tweaked cars like this that have helped push the JDM movement to the forefront of the current import tuning trends.
