I’m not exactly sure what differentiates a Honda Partner from a Honda Orthia, both were built on the EK sedan platform and in the spirit of keeping their best for the homeland, it was available in Japan with a B20 and all wheel drive. There are a couple of US EKs with Orthia front end conversions running around, but this is a Partner/Orthia with an EK facelift. This offers a great glimpse into what an EK wagon may have looked like if offered here, they would probably be more popular now than when new, ah what could have been.

French, German, British, it doesn’t really matter somehow red wheels on a white car always screams JDM to me. A lot of people probably consider it “played out” but for me when it’s done right it always looks good.

Remember the “Small World” moment I had last week? It happened again and it’s so freaky, the blue EF on hydros I posted yesterday turns out to be an 11 year old pic of Dennis’ old car who just happens to be a very generous supporter of the Melissa Project. Dennis won the raffle last month sponsored by EZ Baked Customz and I’ve had his xB on here twice in the past, here and here. I had no idea he ever even owned a Civic! Seriously what are the odds? He posted up some more pix of the EF on Club xB and says the car was featured in the April 2006 issue of Lowrider Magazine. Besides being one wild coincidence it really shows Dennis’ life long commitment to personalizing his rides and doing it in a very high quality manner with extreme attention to detail.
